DIY Heart Gift Box With Lid

If you’re looking for a unique gift box, this template is for you. This is a heart shaped gift box covered with a pretty floral pattern that I originally designed for my other Valentine heart box. You can also find this design in my gift card holder set. Compared to my other heart box, this one is a true gift box—with a lid and a deeper, more spacious body.

There are two box sizes in this download. A small box that is 4.5 inches wide, when measuring at the widest part of the heart, and a large box that is 6.25 inches wide. Both boxes are 2.5 inches deep. The longest piece for the large box fits on an 8.5″ x 11″ size sheet of card stock paper, so technically you could create a slightly larger box if you have 12″ x 12″ card stock paper since most cutting machines have a cutting width limit of 12″.

My video tutorial ended up being almost 30 minutes long, but don’t let that scare you. This is not a very complicated project, nor does it take very long to make. I spend some time in the video explaining some important information about all the parts that make up each box so your assembly will go smoothly. (You can also find this information in a PDF file in the main folder of the download.)
