Here is my first butterfly-winged fairy—inspired by the enchanting Luna moth. With it’s strikingly long wing tails, the Luna moth is arguably one of the most beautiful moths in the world . Like my other sitting fairy designs, I wanted this butterfly fairy to have wings that drape around her, and the Luna moth’s wing shape lent itself perfectly to my vision. And for a touch of extra whimsy, I also added some sweet little bud vines that frame her wings.

A fun bonus with this fairy design is that the wing elements are super versatile—perfect for creating any butterfly wings your imagination can dream up. All it takes is some colored paper and a spark of creativity!

Here’s a look at all the pieces included with this fairy design. Your download comes with two versions: one with the fairy’s wings already attached to her body, and another with the wings separate. This allows you to customize your own fairies with different wing combinations.
