Here is a dragon lantern I’ve designed for the Lunar New Year 2024. I’m excited to be sharing this lantern design with you because every year I get messages asking me if I have lanterns for specific animals from the Chinese zodiac— and now starting with this lantern I will!
The dimensions of this lantern is about 8 inches from the top to the bottom of the frills, and about 12 inches if you measure to the tassel hanging at the bottom.
Because of the way this dragon lantern is made up of individual panels, you’ll be able to switch out the panels however you want. For this lantern, there are two panels included: the dragon panel and the Chinese knot panel (see below). This dragon lantern will act as the basic lantern design you will need, and as I design more animal panels they will be available as add-on purchases.
