Blossom fairy with pink cherry blossoms

Blossom Fairy

Every Spring I get an itch to design another fairy, and this year was no different. Here is my new fairy design—a Blossom Fairy. There’s something about tiny flowers that bring me instant joy. Forget-Me-Nots are one of my favorites. They’re invasive in my garden so I have some regret planting them but when they’re in bloom the little blue flowers are just so precious.

An here is another fairy I made with yellow blossoms. Does it remind you of Forsythia?

Like my other sitting fairies, this Blossom fairy also has long trailing vines in her wings but unlike the other fairies, the vines are part of her main wing.

In my tutorial I’ll be making a fairy with pink blossoms which look like cherry blossoms, another favorite of mine.

Two versions of this fairy are included in your download. One with the fairy’s wings attached to her body, and the second with her wings attached.

Each fairy takes me about 10 minutes to make, not including cutting time and time for glue to dry in between steps. The most time consuming part of this project is creating the flowers, however these little flowers make this a fun little project you can make with kids.
